In a new location for May 4th!

The Mission Peak Brass Band kicks off our 2018-19 season with our Fall concert.  On October 19, 2018, 8 p.m. come see us at the Smith Center.  We present a bounty of quality brass music for your listening pleasure. From the rousing Music from The Incredibles by Michael Giacchino to a march, one of John Phillip Sousa’s lesser known, The White Rose March.  Our concert will cover a variety of styles, periods and genres. Featured musicians are Ken Walter and Ian Cochran on cornet and Cliff Mercer on flugelhorn

Please come see us Friday, May 4th 2018, 8PM at the Smith Center for our final concert of the season. We’ll be performing some spectacular entertainment tunes, including “Luke and Leia’s Theme” by John Williams, spaghetti western “Themes of Wild West!” by Ennio Corrcone, dance music “Groove Machine” by Otto M Schwartz, and “The Peanut Vendor” by Moises Simons.

Friday, March 23, 2018  8pm at the Smith Center, Ohlone College, Fremont

Vikings and Beatles and Olympians, Oh My! The Mission Peak Brass Band will perform rousing works including Viking Age by Thierry Deleruyelle, Yellow Submarine by John Lennon / Paul McCartney, and John Williams’ Summon The Heroes. Featured performers are Flugelhorn soloist Cliff Mercer in Postcards From Caledonia by Lee Morris. Ken Walter and John Monroe are featured in Novella, a duet for Cornet and Euphonium.
